Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how BiscuitByte Limited uses and protects any information you provide when using any of our apps.

BiscuitByte Limited may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

Leaderboard

Some of our apps include a leaderboard which stores certain data. This data is used solely for the purpose of enabling players to compare their scores with other players.

Disc Drop (iOS)
Formation - Puzzle Game (iOS)
Disc Drop and Formation use Apple’s Game Center leaderboard so we do not collect or process any information. Instead Apple uses your Game Center Nickname (see Settings > Game Center > Nickname) and stores your score along with the date/time.

Overhang (iOS)
Overhang has its own leaderboard. The data stored is:
  • Nickname - you can change this at any time in the Overhang settings screen
  • Region - this is automatically read from your device. In iOS, see Settings > General > Language & Region > Region
  • Date/time - the date and time the score was made

Advertising

All our apps are free to download and use, so we use advertising from trusted suppliers in a responsible manner in order to fund the development and support of our apps.

Information such as your country and language preference is used by advert suppliers to help provide relevant adverts. A unique ID called an IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) is used to track which adverts have been shown on your device and which you have shown an interest in, and also to prevent fraud. From iOS 14.5+ you will be asked if you want to allow tracking which means allow the use of this IDFA. Choosing “Allow” personalises ads which helps keep our apps free.

We use Google Admob to provide the adverts, which in-turn uses a number of Technology Providers. (We use the “Commonly used” set of providers.)

Note:
  • You can choose to remove all adverts using an In-App Purchase.
